Applying for Undergraduate Admission to The University of Nebraska at Omaha

Non-Degree/Visiting Summer Students

Individuals who do not intend to complete a degree at UNO, a visiting student from another institution, or a summer session applicant, may apply as Non-Degree/Visiting students. Students who are currently attending another college or university or have attended another institution within the past year, are required to submit a Statement of Good Standing from that institution verifying they were in good academic standing when they last attended. Non-Degree/Visiting students are not eligible to receive financial aid. If, at a later date, they wish to change to a degree program, the student would be required to meet the admission requirements of the University and the program to which they apply. Non-degree freshman applicants who graduated from high school after January 1, 1997, are required to submit an official high school transcript, ACT or SAT results, and will be individually reviewed for admission.
  • New incoming students must provide official documentation of immunizations before registering for classes. See the Immunization Pre-Enrollment Requirement page for more information.

  • For a smoother registration process, submission of college transcripts will be needed for anyone wishing to register for a class with a prerequisite.
Non-Degree/Visiting Summer students should complete the Undergraduate Application for Admission and submit the non-refundable $45.00 application fee. Your application will not be processed until the fee is paid.
