For 2007-08, over 1200 total spaces are available for student residents. In fall 2008, 380 more spaces
will become available with the opening of Maverick Village. All residential units are furnished with bedroom, living room, and
dining furniture. The demand for Housing has been substantial and is expected to continue. All prospective students who
wish to live on campus are encouraged to apply for admission to the University as early as possible.

University Village, UNO's first on-campus housing facility, offers apartment-style living for approximately 550 full-time students. Conveniently located on the Dodge Street location of the UNO campus, each apartment has four individual bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Laundry, mail and a meeting area are available in a centralized clubhouse. Maverick Village, opening in fall 2008, will be located on the southwest corner of the Dodge street location. Housing 380 students, amenities will include four private, carpeted bedrooms; two full bathrooms; a furnished living room; cable/internet service in each bedroom and living room; a full sized kitchen and washer/dryers in each building. Scott Village, located on the Pacific Street location, provides convenient access to the Peter Kiewit Institute and UNO shuttle services. Scott Village offers priority to students majoring in Information Science, Technology & Engineering. This 480-bed, 10 building complex is comprised of furnished four-bedroom suites each with a full kitchen, two full bathrooms and living room. The Commons building, centrally located in the courtyard, features a study area, laundry facility and game room. A variety of meal plan options are available through Scott Residence Hall dining services. Scott Residence Hall is located on UNO's Pacific Street location near the Peter Kiewit Institute. Scott Hall is a four-story residence hall comprised mostly of four-bedroom suites, primarily for recipients of the Suzanne & Walter Scott Foundation Scholarship and recipients of other major Peter Kiewit Institute Scholarships. Scholarship recipients will be contacted directly regarding Scott Hall. Residents of Scott Hall have access to an unlimited dining meal plan, lounges on each floor, fitness center, study room, game room and laundry facilities all within the building.
