Parents Orientation.

What is Parents Orientation?

Parents Orientation sessions are designed to welcome parents of new students to the UNO campus and provide them with an overview of University services. At these sessions, parents will learn about:
  • Campus Resources for Parents and Families
  • Campus Security
  • Financial Aid
  • Transitional Issues for Parents and Families
  • Federal Right to Privacy Act
  • Campus Services for your Student
In addition, parents will tour the Student Health Services facility.

When are Parents Orientation Sessions scheduled?

Parents Orientation sessions are only scheduled in the summer and run parallel to New Student Orientation sessions. There are usually 6-8 sessions scheduled in the summer.
