Chris is originally from Fairfax, South Dakota. She is a graduate of The University of South Dakota, and spent 5 years in the admissions office at USD prior to coming to Omaha in 2000. May 2009 marks Chris's 7 year anniversary  with Recruitment Services at UNO.  She is in charge of coordinating Durango Days, the Ambassadors and the Foundation Ambassadors.

A native of Necedah, Wisconsin, Jason has worked in the Education field for the past 9 years. Fall 2009 marks the start of his 7th Recruitment season at UNO. Jason has also been a teacher in his hometown of Necedah, and served as a Career Specialist at UW-Green Bay.  He uses his "larger than life" size and demeaner to preach the importance of college to students. In addition to his regular recruitment duties, he is in charge of planning and organizing UNOs Open Houses.

Lina Traslaviña is in her fifth  year at UNO as the Community Outreach Coordinator. She graduated from UNO with a Master of Science in Urban Studies. Lina is also a graduate from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in Business Administration and International Studies. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Sociology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Lina enjoys watching independent movies, cooking for people, talking about her family, traveling, and reading.  Ask her about the places that she has visited around the world! Did I mention that she is fluent in Spanish? Lina is responsible for reaching out to the Hispanic/Latino community in Nebraska and she also works with students who wish to transfer to UNO.

Jen Agnew an alumnus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha has worked in the Recruitment Services office for two years. She graduated from UNO in December 2005 with a Bachelors of Science in Speech Communication with a minor in Mass Communication and a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre. She has worked at Metropolitan Community College as a Recruiter and was lucky enough to serve as an intern in the UNO Recruitment Services office in 2005. Jen loves to chat with students about the opportunities available for their personal path to college and her own amazing experiences at UNO. She has been lucky enough to act in her free time and you may have seen her on stage at Shakespeare on the Green.  She is also in charge of coordinating the Matadors.
