How do you schedule a campus visit or open house?
Campus Visits
- During the academic year, campus visits are offered Monday through Friday at 9:15 a.m. or 12:15 p.m. Sessions are available for first time students and transfer students. Your visit will include an information session with a professional staff member, a walking tour of campus, and tours of the residence halls. Campus visits last approximately three hours.
- Topics covered in the information include: admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, financial aid, and much more. We will also arrange academic appointments, depending on availability of department advisors. Visits must be scheduled seven days in advance.
Open House Programs
- Attending one of UNO's open house programs will give you and your family the opportunity to learn all about your future college life at UNO. You'll also get the chance to talk to representatives about academics, financial aid, housing and more. A panel of current students will be available to give you the first-hand scoop on life at UNO. Tour of campus is included.
- Open house programs are scheduled through the year. Reservations are required to attend and are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Group Visits
- We will also arrange activities and presentations for various groups, such as elementary/high school classes, community agencies and similar orgranizations.
- These sessions can include information about admission requirements; academic support services; a campus tour; and special interest activities.
- Group visits should be scheduled four weeks in advance. To schedule a group visit, select the date and time you wish to visit and give us a call at (402)554-MAV1 (6281) or toll free at 877-884-MAVS (6287), or contact Chris Liewer at cliewer@mail.unomaha.edu.

- There are many fine hotels in the Omaha area. Accommodations in close proximity to the UNO campus include: The Aksarben Marriott, The Omaha Marriott, Hilton Garden Inn, The Holiday Inn*, Hampton Inn*, Comfort Inn, Doubletree Guest Suites, Clarion Executive Center, Residence Inn, Country Inn & Suites Omaha Airport, and the EconoLodge. Students scheduled for a UNO Campus Visit can receive a discount when making a reservation at these local participating hotel.

How to Reach Us
- UNO is located in the
metropolitan area of Omaha, Nebraska. We are centrally located on 60th
& Dodge Street. If you travel to Omaha via Interstate 80:
- Take Exit 449 labeled "72nd Street" and travel north on 72nd Street to Dodge Street.
- Turn east (right) on Dodge Street. Continue on Dodge Street past most of the campus.
- At 60th Street (last entrance onto campus), turn south (right) onto University Drive East.
- Take University Drive East to the first stop sign and take a right into Lot W.
