Upper level (3000/4000) course equivalents taken at the community college do not count as upper level credit
when transferred to UNO (noted by "No upper level credit" in the comments section).
Although credit will be given for a course taken at a community college that would have been an upper level course at UNO, and where a UNO course equivalent is listed, no upper level credit will be given for that course. If these courses are completed at the community college, students will need to compensate by completing additional upper level course work at UNO to earn the required minimum 45 credit hours of upper level credit needed to graduate including a minimum of 21 credit hours of upper level criminal justice course work for the major.
Therefore, it is not advisable to complete courses that would be upper level credit if taken at UNO and are listed as
"No upper level credit" if transferring to UNO.
See your college advisor for individual transfer possibilities for any other courses offered.
