Inter-Campus Registration

The Inter-Campus Registration Form allows a University of Nebraska (UN) student to register on a UN campus other than the student's Degree Campus without completing an additional admissions application.  Inter-Campus Registration Forms are due in the Office of Admissions at the Visiting Campus 15 days prior to the start of the intended semester/term of enrollment.

NOTE:  A new Inter-Campus Registration Form must be completed for each semester or term of enrollment at a Visiting Campus.

  • The Registrar's Office on the visiting campus will send a transcript to the Degree Campus at the end of the semester/term.
  • The student will receive grade reports from each campus during the period of enrollment on the two campuses.  The grade reports will contain different grade point averages reflecting only those courses taken on each campus. A final cumulative grade point average will be determined by the Degree Campus.
  • Students must be in "Good Standing" at the Degree Campus to be eligible for inter-campus enrollment.  A change of status (i.e., dismissal/suspension) after inter-campus admission may result in having the Visiting Campus enrollment cancelled.
  • The total number of semester hours a student may register for may be restricted by the type of session/term of attendance.  Contact the Visiting Campus for information regarding credit hours limitations.
  • Each student participating in inter-campus registration should contact the Office of Financial Aid at the Degree Campus for specific information about inter-campus awarding of aid.   Generally, two situations will occur:
    • If all credits for a specific semester/term are taken at the Visiting Campus, the Visiting Campus awards the financial aid package. The Visiting Campus must receive a complete set of the financial aid application and supporting documents (i.e., FFS, SAR, etc.) in order to determine eligibility for aid.
    • If, while enrolled at the Visiting Campus for a specific semester/term, one or more credits are taken at the Degree Campus, the Degree Campus awards the financial aid package.
  • If there is a change or correction of name, address or social security number, the student must notify both campuses.
  • Institutional policies and deadline dates may vary from campus to campus. It is the student's responsibility to learn the policies and deadlines in effect on the campuses involved.
  • Please read registration information in the appropriate campus's class schedule.
