UNO Registration Information

Before Registering for classes, please read the information below:

  • E-BRUNO is UNO's web-based registration system that conveniently allows you to register for courses, drop and add courses, and obtain grade and schedule information along with a host of other web based enrollment services functions. You need your student ID and PIN in order to use E-BRUNO. If you have forgotten your PIN, as a currently enrolled student you can now request that your PIN be sent securely to your University e-mail account, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! PINs WILL ONLY be sent to your University e-mail account. This service can be accessed here. For more information regarding the Registrar's PIN policy, please click here.
  • All UNO students enrolled in classes automatically receive a University e-mail account. Student Enrollment Services will use this e-mail account as the sole communication vehicle for many important enrollment services announcements, including registration information. Please check your account on a regular basis. If you need help accessing your e-mail account, please visit the helpdesk website, or call them at 554-HELP (4357).
  • BRUNO worksheets and Grade mailers are no longer sent via postal mail. To access your registration date and time, please logon to E-BRUNO and select "Holds and Registration Times."
  • The paper based copy of the class schedule listings booklet is no longer printed. The web version is the only available listing of classes. It provides the most up-to-date information available for students. To access class listings, please click here.
  • Audit registration is only available on or after the first day of the class, requires written permission of the instructor, and must be done in person at the Registrar's Office, EAB 105. Please refer to Audit Registration Policies and Procedures for more details.

When can I register?

Currently enrolled students in Spring 2008 who do not have any enrollment stops are eligible to participate in early registration. Early registration times are based on the number of credit hours earned and the last two digits of the student's ID. Please note, UNO Inter-Campus students must turn in an Inter-Campus form to the Office of Admissions each semester. Early registration periods are as follows:

  Summer 2008
Graduates March 31, 2008
Seniors (91 - above) April 1, 2008
Juniors (58 - 90) April 2, 2008
Sophomores (27 - 57) April 3, 2008
Freshman (0 - 26) April 4, 2008
Open Registration April 7, 2008

  Fall 2008
Graduates April 7, 2008
Seniors (91 - above) April 9, 2008
Juniors (58 - 90) April 11, 2008
Sophomores (27 - 57) April 15, 2008
Freshman (0 - 26) April 17, 2008
Open Registration April 21, 2008


Your specific early registration time and enrollment holds information is available by logging on to E-BRUNO at http://www.ses.unomaha.edu and selecting "Holds and Registration Times." The system will not allow you to register prior to your scheduled time.
Many classes have prerequisites or require permission from a department or instructor. To check course requirements, please use the University Undergraduate or Graduate catalog. Requirements for a course can be found at the back of these catalogs under course descriptions. Any questions about prerequisites or about obtaining permission should be directed to your academic advisor.

Open Registration

Students who have attended classes within the last two years and have no enrollment stops are eligible to register during the open registration period.

E-BRUNO Availability

Monday through Sunday 6:00 am to midnight
*Exception: The 3rd Sunday of every month will have limited availability till 2pm

When can I find out my grades?

Grade mailers will no longer be sent via postal mail. Grades will be available through E-BRUNO at http://www.ses.unomaha.edu. Grades are posted nightly starting during the week of finals. Academic action (probation/suspension) and Deans' Lists are run after all the grades have been posted.
